"We got caught in heavy rain with our e-bikes and also were low on battery. Without hesitation they let us charge our batteries. We had a pannini and a pizza which both were delicious. And they let us stay until we were charged enough for the rest of the travel. Mille grazie!"

"Apr 2022. Tipped by a local, we had a good and nice lunch here. Authentic Tuscan kitchen, with classics, but also local dishes of the zone. Overall a good menu selection. The quality of the food was very good, the meat roasted perfectly. Wine card is large (on the more expensive side for Italian standards), yet the red house wine was a bit disappointing. Service was quick and good; they served the children in our group first, without us having to ask this. Most of the tables are inside and the decor is serviceable, but you come here for the food, not the surroundings. The crowd consisting mostly of locals/Italians (indicating the quality of the food). Price was very fair for the quality. Definitely recommended."

"This has been my favorite food in Italy so far (we started in Venice, went through Florence and Chianti region of Tuscany). We had the portobello in white sauce and the wild pig aka boar. Oh and the tiramisu is divine!! Even if you have to drive 45 minuets out of your way (we did) it’s absolutely worth it!"

"Very traditional restaurant with traditional dishes. The cook took some time translating the menu for us which was great! We had a great steak tartare as a starter with very tasty fresh pasta. It's not a cheap restaurant but not overly expensive either! The lights were very bright though which doesn't give the restaurant a very cosy atmosphere."

"The pappardelle fatte in casa al cinhiale is truly one of the best I have ever tasted anywhere in the world. Service is good despite the face they were busy and prices are extremely reasonable. Bravo capocuoco!! Read the full review of this restaurant on our blog."
